Dear Valued Customer,

As you may be aware, I made the decision to stop our window cleaning service on 23rd March due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.  I made this decision despite Nicola Sturgeon stating that window cleaners could continue operating.  The reason for this was to protect the health and wellbeing of our employees, families and customers which is our number 1 priority.

Since then, I have been reviewing the situation closely and working on a plan to get a skeleton team of window cleaners back out to re-commence external work only including windows and gutters.  The 4 week break has allowed me to implement the safest ways of working, conduct all necessary risk assessments and acquire additional PPE.  This is on top of the hygiene control measures that were already in place prior to closing which was previously communicated to you.

As a result, our window cleaning operation will reopen on Monday 20th April.  As you would expect, our team of window cleaners will be working very differently.  Wherever possible there should only be 1 staff member working per property and they will all be equipped with face masks, gloves and be complying, when moving between properties, with social distancing rules.  I hope this assures you that we are taking no risks when it comes to protecting the health of our staff and customers.

Currently for 90% of our customer base, we are 4 weeks behind our usual schedule and you will have missed 1 clean.  We will be working hard to ensure we get back on track as quickly and safely as possible.

We want to eliminate as much risk as possible and therefore we would encourage payments to be paid online by BACs or direct debit.  If you are already set up on direct debit, your payments will continue as normal and be taken in real time.  If you want to set up a direct debit, please get in touch and we can put that in place.  For customers who still want to pay by cash, we would ask, if possible, that you leave it in a safe place in an envelope to be collected by the staff member at the time of the clean.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support at this difficult time and as always, please get in touch if you would like to discuss any of the above.  We are also on hand to offer out general cleaning advice and answer any further questions you may have.  Stay safe!
